How did this gallery come to be?
Our Story
One of life’s challenges was when my husband was going through kidney failure. Being tied to a dialysis machine for 11 hours a day and all that goes with it was not easy for him, nor was watching him go through that. Photography was a way for us to cope and look forward to better days on the horizon.
Even though we couldn’t travel to far away places or climb mount Everest (climbing mount Everest is not a dream, that will kill me for sure!) it taught us that wherever you go, there is beauty. We just have to look for it.
After his transplant and the honor of being his donor, he lovingly finished a space attached to our home for me to have The Carriage House Gallery where I can share the wonders of the beautiful world we live in.
